Early this semester our provost asked her direct reports to participate in a discussion of Anya Kamenetz's “DIY U: Edupunks, Edupreneurs, and the Coming Transformation of Higher Education.” When they finished, the provost then invited two people from each of her departments to meet together with her to discuss the same book. I'm excited to be among this second group. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in a campus learning community, as well as to learn more about the values and priorities of our new provost.
