I know leadershape and they are a for hire leadership organization as compared to what John was talking about as done in house.<br>Many schools try to do the training in house to save the costs of hiring a "professional" trainer. I put professional in quotes because there are just sooooo many leadership speakers that aren't worth the cost of the flight to get them there.<br>On the other side of that, I've talked to many students who went to an in house training and said it was horrible.<br>It's a balance of skill, budget and timing. But a facilitator from there wanted to do a regional event, just for schools in Iowa.<br>So 7 schools sent some of their top students to spend a week together, discussing different leadership practices during college. It was awesome to get to know other student leaders who deal with the same problems of campus life that we do.<br>Not to mention, after spending six days, 18 hours a day with the same group of 50-60 kids, you leave with some relationships that last for a long time!
